Synopsis: The Ruut CF2 is a rugged all-terrain hybrid bike built for gravel and road.
I used Cinema 4D and Redshift to create a realistic environment with CGI plant life, a rugged and dusty ground surface, and a beautiful sunrise. I finished the composite in After Effects with color grading, dust footage, and lens flares.
The final result is a visually stunning image that showcases the ruggedness and versatility of the Ruut CF2.
The film establishes the setting by showing that the Ruut CF2 was created in response to the harsh elements of this beautiful world. The later part of the film comprises beauty shots that showcase the bike's elegant design high-end systems and versatility.

Born for the Gravel and Road
Born for the Gravel and Road. I designed a rugged environment, including gravel and road, that the Ruut CF2 was built for. I used Cinema 4D and the render engine Redshift to incorporate CGI plant life, a rugged and dusty ground surface, and a beautiful sunrise. I finished the composite in Adobe After Effects with color grading, dust footage, and lens flares.
I started by creating a basic 3D model of the environment in Cinema 4D. I then used Redshift to render the scene with high-quality, realistic textures. I added CGI plant life to the scene and a custom ground surface.
I used a variety of techniques to create the sunrise. I used Redshift sunlight, volumetric lighting to create the warm glow of the rising sun, and a video of a sunrise in the background. I also added a custom sun flare, using a combination of Cinema 4D and After Effects.
I finished the composite in After Effects, using a variety of color grading, dust footage, and lens flare effects. I used color grading to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. I added dust footage to the scene to give it a sense of realism. I also added lens flares to the scene to draw attention to the subject.
The Reveal
The reveal In the first third of the film, I establish the setting by showing that the all-terrain hybrid bike Ruut CF2 by Rondo was created in response to the harsh elements of this beautiful world. The second third of the film is comprised of beauty shots. The Ruut CF2 is beautifully designed to handle many of this world's surfaces, but it is also visually stunning. I reveal that we are in the sound stage for an up-close and CGI photoshoot.

The final third of the film is a montage that showcases the Ruut CF2's elegant design and high-end systems, making this all-terrain beauty a beast.
